The Car Charging Company revealed as approved Rolec installer

A Tamworth-based Government-approved installer of electric vehicle chargers has been selected as a preferred installer for one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of charge point technology.

The Car Charging Company is now an approved and preferred installer for Rolec EV for the Birmingham area. Rolec EV has Europe’s largest range of electric vehicle charging stations and equipment and only works with the most professional installers.

The Car Charging Company was one of the first companies in the Midlands to win accreditation from the Government’s Office for Low Emission Vehicles and was only achieved following a robust training and testing process. It enables the business to apply for Government grants towards the cost of charge point installations for its domestic and commercial customers.

Since achieving the Government-approved status, the business has been installing electric vehicle charge points at homes, workplaces and destinations across the Midlands.

Partnering with Rolec EV gives customers of the Car Charging Company access to the most up-to-date and comprehensive range of electric vehicle charging technology – as well as help securing Government grants to finance that infrastructure.

Director of the Car Charging Company, Jeff Longley, said: “This is great news for the Car Charging Company and our customers. We are delighted to be declared an approved installer for Rolec as this gives us access to Rolec’s wide range of charging technology, which is the largest in Europe.

“There is no one size fits all charger, but Rolec has an extensive selection of cutting-edge products for all requirements and we can now advise our customers on the best charger for their needs from that wide range, with solutions for the home, workplace or commercial premises, or on the street.

“The Car Charging Company has experienced continuous growth from day one as people become switched on to the benefits of electric vehicles and the demand for charging infrastructure increases.

“We have had a great start to the year with a record number of installs and this will only improve as a result of the partnership with Rolec.”

Each of Rolec EV’s charging point ranges have been specially designed to offer all types and modes of electric vehicle charging and to be compatible with all leading motor manufacturers’ electric vehicles.

XX of Rolec EV said: “The Car Charging Company is now fully approved as a Rolec preferred installer for Birmingham and has the full backing of Rolec EV.

“This means all Rolec installs for Birmingham will be covered by an approved and preferred installer with quick turnaround times and quality installs. Through the Car Charging Company, we can also offer domestic and commercial grants, so customers get more for their money.”
