COVID-19: Travel ban lifted on Denmark as Estonia and Latvia added to quarantine list
England has added Estonia and Latvia to its travel quarantine list – meaning that those arriving from these countries will need to self-isolate for 14 days, the transport secretary said.
However the Scandinavian country will still remain on the UK’s quarantine list.
Mr Shapps has said that those travelling back from Mongolia, Aruba, Bhutan and Timor-Leste – as well as specific Pacific Islands – will not have to self-isolate from 4am on 28 November too.
A week ago, Israel, Sri Lanka, Uruguay, Namibia and Rwanda were also made exempt from the isolation rules.
If tests come back negative, self-isolation can end early.
