Councillor Keiran Casey, cabinet member responsible for tourism, said:
There’s lots to do for children and families at our museums this half-term, with drop-in crafts, fused glass sessions and themed fun days. The Day of the Dead activities in particular will give children the chance to enjoy getting creative in a riot of colours in a range of materials, in homage to this colourful Mexican day of remembrance and celebration.
And for those people gearing up for Christmas, the Teenage Market provides the perfect opportunity to shop for unusual and personal gifts that you may not be able to find on the high street.”
